The number sits at 87. I stare at it. Then 88. The blonde on screen hasn't moved but somehow I'm closer to seeing what's under that black lace thing she's wearing. It's a tile game, right? You click these transparent blocks layered over her chest and they shatter. Two layers. The top ones go first, then the second set underneath. I don't know why I'm counting.

The physics of it don't make sense. Sometimes a tile breaks and takes out three neighbors, other times you click dead center and nothing happens. There's a 94 now and her left strap is sliding down. The game calls it "striptease" but it's more like archaeology. You're excavating a busty blonde from beneath a grid of glass squares. Her expression never changes. That slight smile. Like she knows something about tile 37 that I don't.

I wish the tiles had different resistance levels or something. Some visual cue that says "this one's stubborn." But no, it's just click and hope. The real model thing is weird too because she's clearly a photograph but the tiles are these flat digital overlays that don't match the lighting at all. Her skin has warmth and shadow and the blocks are just... blocks. It's like putting a stained glass window over a magazine ad.

Got to 112 once. The bra was basically decorative at that point. Then I clicked a tile that somehow reset the whole second layer. No warning, no explanation. Just back to fully covered like the last five minutes didn't happen. I laughed but it was that hollow laugh you do on public transit when your phone betrays you. The guy next to me on the bus definitely saw. The numbers game underneath it all, the counter ticking up, it hooks something primitive. You want triple digits. You want completion. Even when the reward is just a jpeg you've already seen on the loading screen.
