The bikini babe in the red two piece just did that little shimmy thing, you know the one, right before the tentacle grabs her ankle. I actually said out loud, "get her." My phone was propped against a coffee mug. This is where my life is at.

It's basically a reflex game dressed up in a pool party. The whole premise is you're a horny tentacle monster and there are women in bikinis with, uh, generous proportions just lounging around. Your job is to time your clicks to grab them and then, well, do what tentacles do. The arcade angle is no joke, it gets fast. Miss a click and they squirm away, leaving you with nothing but a ripple in the water. The art is deliberately unpolished, like someone sketched it on a napkin after a very specific dream, but it works. The boobs have their own physics that defy both logic and pool safety regulations. It's honestly kind of refreshing to see a game that doesn't pretend to be anything else.

The monster hunter tag is misleading though. There's no hunting. You ARE the monster. I kept waiting for some dude with a harpoon to show up and ruin the fun, but no, it's just you, the pool, and a buffet of pixelated ass. The swimming mechanic is basically nonexistent, you're just a stationary horror with a long reach. My high score is trash and I blame the fact that I was trying to figure out if the green haired girl in the corner was actually a different character model or just a palette swap. I think she's a palette swap.

My advice for future players: turn the sound on. The splashing noises are so over the top, it's like someone is slapping a wet ham. It adds to the whole absurd experience. Don't overthink the timing, just vibe with the rhythm of the monster.
