The high score board is a lie and I'm still mad about it. Not because it doesn't track your points, it does, but because the whole thing resets when you close the browser. No cookie, no local save, nothing. You'd think a game about a witch with "unconventional" magic would at least remember my best run where I figured out the orc stunlock combo.

That combo though. It's the only reason I kept playing past the first few fumbles. Our witch, fresh out of some academy that clearly didn't appreciate her, has this power called "Arcane Grip" that lifts an enemy into the air. The animation is janky, the orc model clips through itself, but then you can follow up with "Mana Drain" while they're suspended. The sound design they mention in the features? It's just a wet squelch layered over a stock magic whoosh. It's perfect. Absolutely degenerate. The interracial tag is doing a lot of heavy lifting here because the orcs are the only other things in the cave, and they're all various shades of green with the same basic body type. The turn based combat is simple, almost an afterthought, a delivery system for the animated scenes when you lose or when you use a specific skill at the right moment.

The management part is weird. You collect "essence" from defeated or... "defeated" orcs to upgrade your spells back at a makeshift camp. But the spells don't feel more powerful, just lewder. Upgrading "Mana Drain" doesn't increase damage, it just changes the camera angle and adds a second orc to the animation. Which, fine, I'm not complaining about the destination, but the signposting is all wrong. The game thinks it's an RPG with a corruption mechanic but it's really just an arcade loop where you're trying to see every animation once. The virgin tag is technically accurate for about four minutes. The masturbation scenes are locked behind a "research" menu that costs way too much essence, a grind that feels like the developer padding out a very short experience. I wish there was a gallery, a simple unlockable menu, instead of having to replay the same three cave floors just to see if the witch's magic gets any more "unconventional" with the goblin that sometimes spawns on floor two. It doesn't. It's just the same orc animation with a smaller model.
