The jock stereotype is doing something with his tongue that makes me question if the animator has ever actually seen a vulva, but I can't stop watching. That's the whole thing with this cabin in the woods setup, right? You know the beats. Five archetypes walk into a secluded place, something watches from the trees, and then the screaming starts. Except here the screaming is sometimes... not from fear. The 3DCG models have that slightly stiff quality, skin textures a bit too glossy like everyone just finished a workout, but the breasts have real weight to them. Physics matter when a character is bent over a rotting porch railing while something with too many limbs watches from the treeline.

The mystery element is actually trying, which surprised me. You're switching between the male and female protagonists, making choices that feel like they should matter, and the antagonist isn't just some guy in a mask. There's a lore here, something about the woods themselves being wrong, and the erotic content is woven into the horror rather than pasted on top. Hardcore stuff. Rough. The kind of oral sex scenes where you're not sure if the character is enjoying it or surviving it, and that ambiguity is the point. One scene in the cabin's basement, with the big tits final girl type, had me genuinely uncomfortable in a way that felt intentional. The game knows what it's doing with power dynamics.

Wish the male protagonist had more personality beyond "horny and doomed" but I guess that's the genre. The multiple perspective thing gets messy in episode two, where you'll lose track of who knows what, and there's a puzzle involving a locked drawer that made me alt tab to check Twitter out of frustration. Not because it was hard. Because it was boring. The erotic scenes are what you're here for and they deliver that specific flavor of wrongness, bodies colliding while something scratches at the walls. Future players should let characters make the stupid horror movie choices. Opening the door. Going alone. The bad decisions lead to the best content, and the game has an actual ending planned, not some endless early access purgatory.
