The sound design in My Ero Story is a mess and I mean that as a compliment. Whoever slapped these tracks together understood that a schoolgirl uniform parody of Boku no Hero Academia should sound like a bootleg cassette left in a hot car. The menu music has this wobbly synth line that keeps trying to be heroic but lands somewhere between a ringtone and a dying kazoo. Then you get into a scene with Ochaco or Momo, the uniform skirt rustles are way too loud, like someone crinkling a chip bag next to your ear, and honestly it makes the whole thing funnier than it has any right to be. The moans are stock as hell, you can hear the same breathy gasp recycled across all three girls, but that repetition becomes its own weird rhythm. Like a harem where everyone shares one lung.

The AI generated art is uncanny in that specific way where the eyes are just slightly off, but the uniforms cling in all the right places. There's a moment when you pick the Tyrant route and the background music drops into this low, thudding pulse that sounds like a washing machine trying to be menacing. I laughed, then I kept playing. The game doesn't care if you're there for the parody or the porn, it just shoves both at you with zero polish and maximum confidence.

The writing is where it gets weirdly good. Your dialogue choices are blunt, like "grab her waist" or "threaten to expose her quirk," and the girls respond with this deadpan horny logic that makes no sense but works. Tsuyu's scene has a frog pun so bad I had to close the tab and walk around my apartment. The sound effect for the "Leader" charisma boost is literally a stock camera shutter. Who approved that? Anyway, the DLC should add a fourth girl with a sound pack recorded in a bathroom, just to keep the vibe consistent. I won't finish this thought.
