The combat tutorial is a handjob. No, seriously. Before you even understand the turn based system, Nico Robin cosplay is on her knees and the game walks you through a quick time event like it's teaching you to block. Something about that is so perfectly broken it loops back around to genius. King's Revolt doesn't know what it wants to be, and that's the whole appeal.
You're a washed up MMA guy turned salaryman, then suddenly a mercenary, then suddenly in a maid cafe management sim. The tonal whiplash should be annoying but it's not. One minute you're groping Boa Hancock in a phone chat that reads like a bad google translate fever dream, the next you're deep in a corruption arc with a sex robot who quotes philosophy. The AI CG art is all over the place. Some scenes look like someone spent weeks on the ahegao faces, others look like melted plastic. The big ass on that one milf character though. Chef's kiss. The voyeurism mechanics are weirdly detailed for a game that also has a full RPG combat system nobody asked for.
Wish the netorare content was more upfront instead of buried in the sandbox. You can miss entire cheating routes if you don't click on a specific phone notification at the right time. That's some bullshit. The BDSM trainer segments with the maid uniform character are the highlight, especially when the male domination dialogue gets genuinely uncomfortable. Not in a hot way, in a "should I close this tab" way. But I kept playing. The multiple endings thing is a lie, by the way. There's like two real endings and the rest are just variations on creampie or no creampie. The sci-fi elements with the robot feel tacked on until suddenly they're the whole plot and you realize the Sovereign Coalition stuff was actually building to something. Or maybe I was just distracted by the titfuck animations. Hard to say.
