The pages have this rough, photocopied feel, like something passed around before the internet made everything too clean. Betty Brickhouse isn't some polished pinup, she's drawn with these thick, scratchy lines that somehow make the leopard print bikini look both ridiculous and hot. You can almost feel the paper grain through the screen, that cheap comic book texture under your thumb.

JD swings in like he owns the jungle, all muscles and zero subtlety. The vine chase is actually kinda fun, Betty's blonde hair whipping around in panels that don't quite line up right. When he grabs her, the artist doesn't waste time with romance. The bikini comes off and suddenly you're looking at these exaggerated curves rendered in that same unpolished style. The sex scenes hit different because of it. Not slick, not airbrushed. There's a panel where JD's hands dig into her hips and the linework is so heavy you can practically feel the pressure. Missionary, doggy, some position where she's bent over a log that looks uncomfortable as hell but the expression on her face says otherwise. The whole thing has this raw, almost bootleg energy.

Then JD just swings off smoking a cigarette, which is such a ridiculous flex. The chimp showing up at the end making lewd gestures, that got an actual laugh out of me. Stupid, but fits the whole vibe. Wish there was more buildup though. The Tarzan fantasy is right there but it rushes to the fucking so fast you barely get to enjoy Betty in that bikini. The art style won't be for everyone, deliberately messy and unrefined, but that's what makes it stick in your head. Feels like finding something you weren't supposed to see.
