The coyote’s tail twitches when he’s nervous. Finley does it a lot, standing in the kitchen while his partner’s phone buzzes face down on the counter. That little detail got me. Not the sex, not yet, just the way the AI art catches that anxious energy in the ears and the fur. The 2D stuff is rough around the edges, sometimes the hands look like melted wax and one background had a lamp floating three inches off the floor. But the faces, man. The faces know what they’re doing.
You’re Finley, and you’ve got a steady thing with someone soft and warm. Then other furries start circling. A fox with a voice like honey and zero respect for boundaries. A wolf who texts at weird hours. The game calls itself a visual novel but it’s more like a pressure cooker with dialogue choices. Every conversation is a little trap. Do you lean into the teasing or shut it down? The cheating tag isn’t a spoiler, it’s a promise. The netorare stuff creeps in slow, through glances and half sentences, and by the time you realize you’re in deep the corruption has already happened inside your head. That’s the real horror. The sex scenes are explicit, vaginal, oral, anal, the whole buffet, but the AI generated CGs have this uncanny gloss that sometimes kills the heat. Like fucking a mannequin that’s slightly too shiny.
The localization is mostly solid, a few lines land like they were translated through three languages then back, but the emotional beats survive. What bugs me is the voyeurism mechanic. It’s barely there. You get these moments where you could watch something you shouldn’t, but the game rushes past them. I wanted more lingering, more guilt. The masturbation scenes are better, Finley alone with his thoughts and his choices, and those hit harder than any of the partnered stuff. The romance path is sweet, almost boring, which I think is the point. Temptation should feel dangerous next to that safety. I wish the furry designs were less samey, all slim muzzles and big eyes, but the writing carries the weight. The teasing dialogue in the bar scene made me put my phone down twice. Not because it was bad. Because it worked.
