The cards feel cheap. Not in a bad way, like that sticky deck at your uncle's place after too many beers, but in a way that makes the whole thing more honest somehow. You're not here for the poker. Nobody is. The shuffling animation is just a loop, same three frames, and the cards themselves have this slightly off aspect ratio that makes the queen of hearts look stretched like she's already anticipating something. Or maybe that's just me.
Got a straight on the third hand and she took off the glove. Not both gloves, just the left one, and the way the video stuttered right at the moment the fabric slipped past her wrist. I don't know if that's intentional or if the streaming compression just gives up at the worst possible moments. Probably both. The model, some brunette with a tattoo on her collarbone that I spent way too long trying to identify (a bird? a fish? something with wings but also fins?), she keeps this blank expression that's supposed to be professional but comes off as bored. Which is hotter than it should be. The whole setup is one of those browser things where you're not sure if the lag is your internet or the game itself having an existential crisis.
The poker combinations are basic, texas hold'em stripped down to its bones, and the AI opponent folds at the weirdest times. Like it'll have something good, you can tell because the difficulty spikes randomly, then just... gives up. Letting you win. Letting her take off the other glove, the skirt, that top with the complicated clasp she fumbles with for a solid eight seconds. Eight seconds of fumbling. I counted. The sound design is mostly silence except for the card flip sound effect that's way too loud, like someone slapping a table, and her occasional sigh that doesn't sync with her mouth. There's no music. Just that slap. Slap. Slap. The $100 per show thing is misleading because you're not actually paying real money, it's in-game chips, but the fantasy of transaction hangs over everything like a question nobody asked. What would this cost in a real club? More than $100. Less dignity maybe. The censored screenshots I've been collecting, this one's going in the folder marked "almost but not quite" because the blur effect when you lose a hand and she stops undressing, that specific pixelation pattern, it's the same one from those japanese imports from the early 2000s. A nostalgia for something that was never good but you miss anyway.
