The first kiss in ChariKiss happens way too fast and honestly it sets the whole tone. Our heroine, this thirsty mess of a college girl, barely gets through introductions before she's leaning in. No buildup, no tension, just straight to the good stuff. The 3D models have this unpolished quality that somehow makes everything feel more raw, like watching someone's personal project come to life in the messiest way possible. The girls look a bit stiff when they move but their faces during the groping scenes? Actually expressive in a way that caught me off guard.

The school setting is basically just hallways and classrooms with zero personality but that's not really the point is it. You're here to see how many girls you can kiss and the game does not pretend otherwise. There's this one scene in the library where you can feel up a classmate between the shelves and the camera angles are so awkward they loop back around to being hot. The choices matter but not in some deep narrative way, more like "do you want to kiss the quiet girl or the sporty one" and both options lead to increasingly handsy situations. The lesbian content is front and center, no male gaze nonsense getting in the way of girls being absolutely desperate for each other.

I keep thinking about the groping mechanics which are basically just clicking on body parts until the scene progresses. It's simple, almost too simple, and sometimes the hitboxes feel off like you're pawing at her shoulder when you clearly aimed for something else. The female protagonist has this internal monologue that's equal parts cute and unhinged, constantly reminding you she's so so thirsty. The game's still in development so some routes just stop dead with a "coming soon" message that made me groan out loud. But what's there already? It scratches an itch I didn't know I had. The 3DCG isn't polished but it's got character, and honestly I'll take awkward passion over sterile perfection any day.
