You know what’s always bothered me about the Soul Society arc? Rangiku’s lieutenant badge placement. Seriously distracting. This gallery, it’s a quiz thing really, but calling it a game is generous. Just a bunch of Bleach pictures and you guess if they’re official or fan made, maybe. Half the time I just clicked through without caring about the score because some of these are absolute fire. That one of Yoruichi mid transformation, fuck. The anatomy is perfect, the shading. Chef’s kiss. Then the very next image is like someone discovered Photoshop’s blur tool for the first time, Ichigo looking like a melted candle. Quality control went out the window and got hit by a truck. The censorship is weird too, like a tiny black rectangle doing absolutely nothing to hide the obvious, a pointless little black bar over a nipple. Why bother at that point?

Spent too long staring at a particularly shitty Nelliel picture. Her face was just… wrong. Like a bootleg action figure you buy at a dollar store that’s supposed to be a superhero but looks more like a tax accountant having a stroke. My phone buzzed, a twitter notification from some account that just posts cat memes, and I ignored it to keep squinting at this disaster. You can't look away. The decent pics are from some patreon artists you probably already follow, nothing new under the sun. There's a Soi Fon set that is just *mwah*, strict and sharp like she should be, before it cuts to a Rukia that looks like she was drawn with a mouse by someone suffering from caffeine withdrawal. Makes you feel unhinged. Scrubbing through the gallery is like flipping channels on an old TV, never knowing if you're getting HBO or static. The damn interface sticks too, sometimes it just wouldn’t register a click.

Got to an Orihime piece that was actually censored with steam. Steam. Like a bad 90s hentai VHS rip. Pure nostalgia hit, made me laugh. Still got the job done though.
