I gotta say, the whole Danganronpa fan thing is weird, right? Like, people get obsessed with that bear. Monokuma. And this game, it knows exactly what it's doing with that. You're some thief, breaking into an abandoned school for tech, and bam, there he is. The black and white bastard. The writing is this second person thing, "you do this, you feel that," which normally makes me cringe but here it works because the whole point is losing control. And you will lose control. Six bad endings out of seven, they're not kidding.
The transformations are where it gets properly fucked. There's this muscle inflation route that's just... absurd. Your body blowing up, veins popping, while Monokuma's voice gets inside your head. The hypnosis angle isn't subtle. It's that slow, creeping voice telling you how good it feels to just let go, to be his puppet, his toy. The text descriptions get really specific about the physical changes, the way your skin stretches, the heat pooling in your gut. One variation has you swelling up so huge you can't move, just a helpless, throbbing mass, and the game describes every helpless twitch. It's hot in that very specific, "I need to clear my browser history" way. The anime style in my head, all those exaggerated expressions, makes the whole thing more surreal.
But then there's the word count. 5k words. That's nothing. You can sneeze and miss half the endings. I blitzed through three routes in like, twenty minutes while waiting for my laundry. The pacing is breakneck, which is fine for a quick fap, but some of these transformations deserve more room to breathe. The inflation one especially, it builds up this intense, humiliating scenario and then just... ends. Abruptly. You get a bad end screen and that's it. No lingering on the aftermath, no description of what Monokuma does with his new musclebound pet. It's a tease in the worst way, like edging without the payoff. A DLC that just expands each bad ending into a longer scene, maybe with some looping descriptions or a "continue" option where you experience life as his controlled drone, that would actually make this dangerous instead of just a quick hit. The core is filthy and creative, it just needs more meat on its bones. Literally, in the case of the inflation stuff.
