Hottest Summer is the kind of game where you know exactly what you're getting into from the loading screen, and yet somehow you're still not prepared. The 3DCG models have that slightly off, uncanny valley charm. You know the one. Like someone spent way too long in character creator and then said "yeah, perfect." Sam's mom Riona has these hips that don't quite make anatomical sense but honestly, who's complaining. The NTR tag is doing some heavy lifting here, and I mean that as a compliment. Jim and Jun are the most punchable douchebags I've seen in a while, which is exactly what the corruption path needs.

The exhibitionism mechanics caught me off guard. There's a scene early on where Sam can "accidentally" walk in on his sister Juno changing, and the game just... lingers. The camera practically breathes down her neck. It's creepy in the exact way it should be. The choice system isn't complex at all, mostly binary decisions that funnel you toward either the "good boy" route or the increasingly unhinged corruption spiral. What's weird is how the summer setting feels like a countdown, even though there's no actual time limit. Every interaction with Angela, the childhood friend, has this tension like you're racing against the bullies' groping hands. The school setting morphs into this pressure cooker.

I wish the male protagonist had more agency in the early scenes. Sam just kind of watches things happen for the first hour, which is frustrating when you're trying to steer toward the milf content. Riona's teasing is top tier though. That scene where she bends over to pick up laundry and the camera just sits there, no music, just ambient sound. Masterful. The vaginal sex scenes are animated with this rubbery enthusiasm that shouldn't work but does. Romancing Juno feels wrong in the best way, especially when you've already corrupted Angela. The pixelated dean's tits bounce with a weird, hypnotic jiggle physics that feels like a programmer's fever dream from 2006. I spent maybe twenty minutes just in the faculty office, clicking through dialogue options that all lead to the same place anyway, watching her lean forward. The game knows what it's doing. It's not subtle. A motorcycle crash, a dead girlfriend, a new university full of women who seem pathologically incapable of keeping their clothes on during serious conversations about your trauma.

The violence tag isn't kidding. One scene, you're getting a clumsy but enthusiastic handjob from a classmate behind the gym, the next there's a flashback with blood and twisted metal that genuinely made me alt-tab for a second. The tonal whiplash should be a disaster. It kind of is. But I kept clicking. The mystery about what's actually haunting the protagonist, some ghost or guilt or both, gets buried under all the sex scenes, which are frequent and animated with that slightly uncanny 3DCG stiffness. Mouths don't quite close right.

The game's entire premise is built on watching things you probably shouldn't. The big ass physics deserve a mention because they operate on what I can only assume are lunar gravity rules. Hypnotic in the worst way. The romance paths are there but feel like afterthoughts, text boxes between the real content. Something about a dark secret from the past. I'll probably never finish the actual plot.
