Goblins. Right. Because what every fantasy needs is more goblins and their messy little colonies. This one starts after a big loss, they're all scattered and pathetic, which honestly feels right for these little creeps. You're building up from nothing, catching women, and yeah, the whole point is to corrupt and breed them. The first capture scene set the tone real fast. No buildup, just a hand over the mouth and then the clothes start tearing. The animation is... deliberate. Not smooth like you'd hope, almost clunky on purpose, like it's meant to feel a bit dirty and rough. The domination stuff is front and center, lots of groping and forced positions, and the humiliation angle gets pushed hard with how the women's expressions change over time.

Got to a scene where a captured elf gets passed around in this half built hut. The vaginal and anal are both there, no fade to black, and the creampie ending just lingers. You see the submission meter tick up afterward, which is a whole mechanic I forgot to mention. It's like a corruption tracker but tied directly to how often you use them. Pregnancy becomes this visible thing too, bellies swelling, and it's tied to growing your clan. Wish there was more variety in the goblins themselves though. They all blur together after a while, same hunched green bodies, and the male protagonist perspective means you never really see your own face, which gets weird during the closer shots.

One moment that stuck, there's a goblin who just keeps poking and prodding at a tied up woman while she's trying to ignore him, and it's so awkwardly animated it becomes almost funny. Like a bad Tinder date but with more slime. The oral scenes have this exaggerated slurping sound that loops badly, and I couldn't stop noticing it. But then the breeding payoff hits and you forget the jank for a second. The whole thing feels like it was made by someone who really gets the fantasy but also doesn't care if it looks pretty. Not for everyone, but if you're already deep into corruption arcs and goblin nonsense, you know what you're getting into.

Honestly the first public gangbang scene caught me off guard. My character, this stuck up royal knight, paraded through the streets while goblins grope her in broad daylight and the crowd just watches. You know, typical Tuesday. And I was sitting there thinking, wait, aren't I supposed to be the one doing the humiliation? The game flips that script fast. You play as Briggs, this nasty little goblin scheming to break the queen's spirit through what can only be called aggressive pranks and very public disgrace. Not my usual setup but something about the voyeuristic framing hooked me.

The writing doesn't pretend to be deep. It knows exactly what it is and leans hard into the corruption arc. Court nobles whisper in your ear, set up these elaborate scenarios where the queen gets cornered by monsters, shoved around, filled up in every hole while her reputation crumbles. Big tits bouncing, ass clapping, the whole hard sex package with that CG hentai polish where every creampie gets its close up. Sometimes the group scenes get messy in a good way, bodies everywhere, hard to tell where one goblin ends and another begins. The sexual harassment isn't a side dish here, it's the main course. Groping in the throne room, rough domination during what should be diplomatic meetings. My poly brain kept wishing I could romance some of the scheming courtiers alongside the main corruption plot, but no, you just get more goblin dick and humiliation setups.

The humor actually lands. Like when the queen maintains her bratty attitude even while getting absolutely wrecked, still talking shit. Reminds me of that one roommate who talks big game about running things but folds the second rent is due. There's this weird disconnect where I enjoyed watching her fall apart but also kind of admired her stubbornness? The game says any NTR is preventable although I never saw it threaten any relationship I actually cared about. Mostly I just wanted more dialogue options that didn't just lead straight to the next gangbang. Which is stupid because that's literally why you play these games. Maybe I wanted the court's betrayal to feel more earned instead of everyone just being cartoonishly evil from jump. The monster scenes hit harder than the goblin ones, the size stuff gets exaggerated in ways that make the warrior girl's fall feel more complete somehow. Lube would not save you from some of those scenes. Anyway if you want a corruption fantasy with group sex and zero brakes on the humiliation stuff, the public disgrace mechanics do what they promise. Just don't expect anyone to learn your name by the end.

Gear up for a seductive and dangerous game of wits and will. Embrace the challenge and see if you can master the forest’s deadly dance.

Right so the redhead. She's got this look, yeah? Like she's already done with the whole dungeon before even stepping inside. I respect that. I've blown actual money on gacha pulls for characters with less personality in their entire splash art than she has in that one idle animation where she just sort of shifts her weight. The goblins though. Little green bastards. You're hunting for these three big dick buttons, which is already the most honest objective a game's ever given me, and they're always, always behind a pack of these guys. The POV really sells it when they get handsy. It's not a combat game, you can't die, but if they grab you it's a full reset to the start. Which happened. A lot. Because I got distracted. There's this one corner in the second area, near a torch that flickers weird, where a goblin's patrol path is just slightly off sync with the music. I spent maybe ten minutes just watching him, waiting for the perfect moment to slip past, and he still caught me. The anal scene with the bigger monster, the one that's not quite a goblin, caught me off guard. The sound design is surprisingly crunchy. You hear the squelch before you fully register what the animation's committing to. It's unpolished in a way that feels deliberate, like the jank is part of the texture. The dungeon siege vibe is there in the claustrophobic corridors, but it's more of a monster hunter loop of baiting and dodging. Wish the buttons themselves did something more interesting when pressed, a little rumble or a screen shake, but they just sort of click. The oral bits are fine, standard fare, but it's the chase that got its hooks in. The way the redhead's breath hitches in the quiet moments between monster packs. That's the stuff.

Right off the bat, the thing that sticks with me about The Goblin's Brides isn't the smut, it's the goddamn lighting. There's this one CG early on, Yharnam is just sitting on a log, and the way the firelight hits the side of her face while the rest of her is in shadow. Spent a weird amount of time staring at that before remembering what kind of game I was reviewing. The artist clearly gave a shit, which is almost annoying because the writing is so aggressively mid. You got three battle hardened adventurers, Yharnam, Morgana, Nax, coming back from a botched mission and they're all mopey. The dialogue feels like it was run through a translator that had a stroke halfway through. Morgana says something like "the failure is a heavy cloak" and I snorted my drink. But then you get to the goblin camp and suddenly nobody cares about sentence structure anymore, least of all me.

The domination route with the goblin chief is where the VN actually wakes up. The corruption arc isn't subtle, it's like a brick to the face, but the CGs during the harem scenes are filthy in the best way. There's this one shot of the elf, Nax, getting double teamed that has this gross, wet sheen to it. The sound design is weirdly sparse though. You'll get a looping campfire crackle and then absolute silence during a hardcore gangbang, which is jarring. A squelching sound effect pack would've cost like ten bucks, come on. The voice acting is nonexistent, obviously, but my brain filled in some truly unhinged goblin voices. Wish the fantasy setting was used for more than just window dressing. You got elves and goblins and the kinkiest thing they do is a basic spitroast? Missed opportunity for some real degenerate monster stuff. The gallery mode unlocks everything after one playthrough, which is merciful because I'm not sitting through the "we are sad warriors" opening again just to see the one good anal scene.

Dare to play it alone, or invite company?
