I keep thinking about that quarian suit. The environmental thing, right, the one Tali wears. In the real games it's this symbol of fragility and trust, a barrier you might get to cross if you're patient. Here? It's basically a ziplock bag waiting to be torn open. And that's the whole vibe of this weird, janky sandbox. Everything sacred gets a sticky fingered treatment.
The plot is a what if during her pilgrimage, which is a fine excuse to throw her into a nest of original monsters and corrupt quarians. Combat is there, I guess. Clicking through static 3DCG scenes until a meter fills or something. Honestly I was just mashing to get to the next bad decision. The animations are stiff, like two action figures being smacked together, but there's a grimy charm to it. Seeing characters like Miranda or Liara pop up in this deliberately unpolished parody feels like finding rule34 you didn't know you needed. The corruption angle is straightforward. Tali gets dosed with something, or loses a fight, and suddenly her dialogue shifts from nervous engineer to needy. There's a scene with a creature that has too many tentacles and not enough manners, and the whole thing is narrated with this flat, almost bored text. It's hot because it's so detached, like reading a clinical report on depravity.
The sandbox part is a mess. You click a planet, click a location, and sometimes a sex scene triggers, sometimes nothing. I spent ten minutes trying to find the anal scene with the villain Jedore because the map is a cryptic piece of shit. When I finally got it, the payoff was a looping animation of Tali getting railed over a console, her big ass jiggling with the physics of a water balloon. The sound design is just wet slaps and a low hum. No music. Just... slapping. It's uncomfortable and perfect.
There's a masturbation scene early on where she's in her bunk, and the game lets you control the pace with a slider. A slider! Like you're adjusting the volume on your depravity. I laughed. Then I kept using it. The whole thing feels like a grimy little secret you'd find on a forgotten corner of a forum, not a real game. And that's exactly what I wanted.
