Occultus opens with your aunt basically dragging you into Moroburg's vampire cult scene and honestly the first hour is just her monologuing about bloodlines while you click through dialogue boxes. The CG hentai stuff is there but it's weirdly paced, like you'll get a full explicit scene with some random wealthy vampire lady before you even understand what the cult actually does. The aunt character is the main draw obviously, she's got that whole older woman corrupting her nephew energy going on and the game leans into it hard.

The art is deliberately rough around the edges, like someone drew it in a hurry but still managed to make the tits look incredible. There's this one scene where you're in some underground ritual room and the lighting makes everyone look like they're sweating blood, it's gross but also kind of hot? I don't know. The writing has this weird habit of describing vampire fangs in way too much detail during sex scenes, like we get it, they have teeth. But then it'll suddenly drop a genuinely interesting bit about how the cult controls the town's economy and I'm like wait, go back to the aunt's cleavage.

Community mods are already doing the heavy lifting here. Someone made a patch that adds more aunt scenes because apparently the base game doesn't have enough of her, which is insane because she's in like half the content already. Another modder replaced all the blood effects with glitter which is objectively hilarious during the ritual orgy scene. The game runs fine in browser but it eats RAM like crazy after about twenty minutes, no idea why.

If you're gonna play this, save before every dialogue choice because some of them lock you out of entire scenes and the game doesn't tell you which ones matter. Also don't skip the cult initiation scene even if the text gets repetitive, the payoff is worth it. The vampire transformation stuff gets weirdly philosophical at the end and I still don't know if that was intentional or just bad writing. Either way, the aunt's final scene made me forget about the plot holes.
