The whole monster girl thing, right, it's been done to death on some of those flash sites. But here, the jank is almost the point. Eric's coffee shop looks like someone learned Blender last Tuesday, the lighting is flat, and his face during the sex scenes has this dead eyed mannequin stare that I couldn't stop laughing at. But then Lyra, that teasing cat woman with the frankly absurd tail physics, she leans over the counter and the camera does this clumsy zoom on her chest and suddenly I'm not laughing anymore. The representation isn't accurate to any mythology I know, it's more like a horny dream you'd have after eating bad pizza. Authentic to that feeling, maybe.

The oral scenes are where the deliberate lack of polish shines, or doesn't shine, I guess. There's this one animation with a wolf girl, her ears keep clipping through the headboard and the sound design is just... wet. Overly wet. Like a plunger in a bucket wet. But the way she locks eyes with the protagonist, this unbroken stare while her tongue does that thing. I've seen 4K renders on other sites that didn't make me feel as called out. The game forgets to be sexy and just becomes weirdly hypnotic. The big ass tag isn't a lie, by the way. It's a theological statement. There's a scene where a slime girl reforms and her proportions are so wildly off model that it circles back to being fascinating.

Wish they'd add a DLC that just leans harder into the wrongness. Give me a minotaur lady who speaks in garbled text to speech. A harpy whose feathers are just flat pngs that rotate to face the camera. The romance path with the quiet bookworm girl is surprisingly sweet, she reads you bad poetry and then the game just skips a beat and you're in a full vaginal scene with zero transition. Like a record skipping straight to the good part. It's a mess. A sticky, confused mess that doesn't know what a normal map is. I kept clicking next.
