My True Desire is a visual novel that knows exactly what it is, and honestly, that's half the battle won already. The other half is watching this guy slowly realize he gets rock hard at the thought of other men looking at his girlfriend Ana. And I mean really looking. The kind of looking that leads to her bent over a table with that ahegao face while he watches from the corner, dick in hand. The game doesn't pretend to be deep philosophy. It's about a dude discovering his netorase kink, and the slow burn of that realization is surprisingly well paced. Too many of these games rush straight to the gangbang, but here you get these small moments. A skirt that's a little too short. A lingering glance at a stranger. Ana's slight hesitation that slowly melts into something more eager. The AI generated art is... look, sometimes it's gorgeous, those big tits and bigger asses rendered with that glossy 2DCG sheen, and other times the hands look like eldritch horrors. You learn to live with it.

The writing has this weird charm, probably because the dev admits it's their first VN and English isn't their first language. There's a rawness to the dialogue that actually works for the corruption arc. When Ana whispers something filthy during vaginal sex, it hits different than the polished porn dialogue you get elsewhere. The humor lands too, mostly unintentional I think, but there's this one scene with a swinging couple that made me snort my drink. The choices don't matter much, which the game straight up tells you. Respect the honesty. You're here for the exhibitionism scenes and the slow pivot from romance to "please let that guy rail you while I record." The voyeurism stuff gets intense. There's this moment at a party where Ana starts stripping, and the male protagonist's internal monologue goes full caveman. Pure male domination fantasy territory but with consent as the weirdly wholesome backbone. No cheating in the main route, which is refreshing for a netorare adjacent game. Though the tags mention it, so maybe DLC later. The mobile game format means you can get your corruption fix on the toilet. Not that I did that. The oral sex scenes are animated better than they have any right to be. Swinging never looked so good.
