The camera sits too low in the first hallway scene. Like, noticeably, someone forgot to set the eye height and now Jackob’s shoulders block the doorway. That’s the kind of thing I fixate on, because the sex scenes clearly got the attention and everything else is held together with duct tape and a prayer to the Unity asset store gods. The noir filter is there, the rain is there, the jazz sting when you find a clue is there. Then a woman with polygon tits the size of her head appears and asks if you want to "interrogate" her. Sure. Why not.

The collision on the bathroom door got patched, which tells you exactly what kind of bugs this thing shipped with. I spent three minutes walking into an invisible wall near the sink before realizing the interact prompt only triggers if you stand on a specific tile. Detective work, baby. The speed enhancement helps, because the default walk cycle is slower than a hungover meter maid. There’s a moment where Jackob monologues about his missing friend Mike and then immediately you can fuck a stranger in an alley. Pacing is not this game’s strong suit, but neither is writing, so it evens out.

What lingers is the weirdness of the erotic scenes. They’re functional but stiff, like someone animated them by moving mannequins one frame at a time. The moans are stock sounds you’ve heard in a hundred other browser games. And yet, there’s a charm to the jank. The way a dialogue box will pop up mid-thrust with a typo like "your so wet" and then immediately cut back to the action. It feels like a horny student project that accidentally became playable. The detective stuff is paper thin, the sex is serviceable, and the whole thing runs like it’s apologizing for existing. I don’t know if that’s a recommendation or a warning. Probably both.
