ok so i was scrolling through the latest uploads, right, and i saw the preview for Double Delight and almost clicked past it. the screenshots look like someone drew them in a hurry, that one blonde girl's left eye is doing something weird in the second CG and i can't unsee it. but the premise, two old college friends reuniting after some mysterious "incident" that unlocked their whole deal, that got me. i'm a sucker for that specific tension, the unspoken history crackling between two people who've already seen each other at their most... let's say enthusiastic.
the localization is a trip. some lines feel like they were run through a translator from 2005 and then someone's cousin who took one semester of english tried to fix it. there's a part where the brunette says "i am remembering the feeling of your skin on mine" and it's so stilted it loops back around to being weirdly hot. like she's so overwhelmed she forgot how to form contractions. i respect that. the sex scenes themselves, when you get to them, are pure cg hentai. static images, click to advance, the usual. but the dialogue during the cosplay bit, where they're clearly just wearing stuff they found in a closet and calling it a costume, has this raw, giggly energy. they're not performers, they're just two friends with big tits and a shared secret, fumbling around and laughing.
i wish there was a way to just stay in that one scene where they're on the floor, half-dressed, just talking. the game rushes you past it. also, the sound design is nonexistent. like, zero. not even a cheap looping track. just the click of my mouse and my own breathing. maybe that's a choice? minimalism. anyway, the "incident" they keep hinting at is never fully explained, which is either lazy writing or brilliant. you get fragments, a mention of a dorm room, a locked door, a dare. it's like the devs forgot to finish that part of the script and honestly, i'm not even mad. it leaves this ragged edge on the whole thing. the brunette's hair clips through her shoulder in the third scene. i stared at it for a solid minute.
