You know those dreams where you keep waking up but you’re still dreaming? That’s the whole deal with this one. You’re in Yume’s bedroom, no clue how you got there, and she’s giving you these looks. The shy kind, where she barely meets your eyes but her body language is screaming something else. Then you fall asleep and bam, different Yume. Same face, same room, but this one’s got her hand on her hip and a smirk that says she’s already three steps ahead of whatever you were planning.
The art’s got that AI generated sheen, you can spot it a mile away, but honestly it works for the whole timeline hopping gimmick. Each version of Yume has these subtle shifts, the way her hair falls, how her clothes sit, the exact angle of her collarbone when she leans forward. There’s this one timeline where she’s wearing a sweater that’s just slightly too big and it keeps slipping off her shoulder. I spent way too long fixated on that detail. The animation’s not really there, it’s more like pose to pose with some tweening that feels a bit stiff, but the expressions carry the scenes. When she bites her lip in the playful route, you feel it.
Thing is, the multiple endings thing gets messy. You’re supposed to piece together some hidden truth by boinking or not boinking your way through timelines. But the logic’s fuzzy. I got one ending where everything made sense, then replayed and got something completely contradictory. Maybe that’s the point? The experimental tag doing heavy lifting there. The sex scenes themselves are decent, lots of close up shots and that breathy dialogue Renpy games always have, but sometimes the pacing drags when you’re just clicking through text about quantum bullshit or whatever. Still, Yume’s got this thing where she covers her mouth when she’s about to moan, like she’s embarrassed by her own pleasure, and that little gesture alone kept me hitting new game plus. Or whatever the timeline equivalent is.
