The AI cg thing in this game is so weirdly specific, I can't stop thinking about it. Most of the time it's fine, whatever, but sometimes Himeno's eyepatch looks like it's floating half an inch off her face and I just... stare at it. For way too long. The shadows don't line up with the rest of the scene and it bugs me in a way that's almost endearing? Like finding a typo in a love letter. You notice it but you're not mad about it.

Anyway the whole setup is you're this devil hunter dude and Himeno is your superior, and the game does that thing where professional boundaries just sort of evaporate after the second mission. There's this one scene in her apartment after a rough fight, she's got a bottle of something cheap and her shirt's unbuttoned just enough that you can see the edge of her bra strap, and the dialogue choices are actually kind of brutal. Do you ask about her dead partner or do you just let her climb into your lap. I picked the second option obviously and the creampie scene that follows is... look, the anatomy gets a little creative, especially during the vaginal sex bits where her hips seem to bend in ways that would require a chiropractor, but the writing during the dirty talk is surprisingly tender. She keeps her eyepatch on the whole time which I appreciate, it's part of her whole deal.

The romance path is where things get genuinely interesting, which is weird to say about a Chainsaw Man parody hentai game. You can actually fumble the sex scenes by being too eager, and she'll call you out on it. There's this moment where she laughs at you, not mean but like she's actually amused, and I had to put my phone down for a second. The whole thing feels like someone's really specific fantasy they just happened to code into existence, rough edges and all.
