So I'm poking around this game, right, and the whole thing feels like someone took a bunch of CG hentai scenes and then remembered they needed a story to glue them together. The sci-fi fantasy setup is this weird mix where you're an orphan who saves a woman, and suddenly you're in a world that's part alien conspiracy, part magic destiny. The Homelander thing, not the TV show, it's about defending some realm. The writing has this charmingly unpolished quality, like a translation that didn't get a second pass but somehow that makes it more endearing. You'll meet characters from "all walks of life" which apparently means mostly women with very specific body types who need your help.

The visual novel bits are straightforward, click and read, make a choice sometimes. But here's what got me, there's this one scene early on where you're in a medical bay and the woman you saved is recovering, and the game just lingers on the curtain blowing in the wind for like four text boxes. Four! I kept clicking thinking something explicit was about to happen but nope, just curtain physics. Then two scenes later you're suddenly in a full on encounter with barely any buildup. The pacing is absolutely unhinged and I kind of respect that.

I wish the adventure elements had more actual adventuring instead of just being a delivery system for the next lewd scene. The fantasy aspects feel tacked on, like someone said "what if we add magic" halfway through development. The CG art itself is decent, nothing groundbreaking but it gets the job done when the game finally decides to stop talking about worldbuilding and show you what you're actually here for. Some of the character designs are genuinely interesting, especially the antagonist who shows up way too late and then the game just ends. No resolution, just a "to be continued" that I'm still annoyed about. The whole thing is a mess but it's a horny mess that knows exactly what it is, even when it pretends it doesn't.
