The waitress uniform is wrong. It's supposed to be a maid cafe, right? But the apron sits too high and the skirt doesn't have enough frills. I spent maybe twenty minutes just staring at the first girl's collar, wondering if the artist ever actually went to one of these places in Akihabara. Probably not. The whole thing has that slightly off model feel you get from a patreon demo that's been sitting in a browser tab since 2017, the kind you bookmark and forget about until you're clearing out old links on a lazy Sunday.

The pickup mechanic is just... touching. You click on the girl and she reacts. There was supposed to be a minigame but the dev ripped it out in an update, said people complained about the sperm hitbox being too small. Which is a sentence I just typed. Now it's just a visual novel where you play as Satoshi, this freshly graduated kid working at an all girl maid cafe called Carrot Cafe. The demo lets you undress one of the waitresses. Slowly. The unlock system is weird, you have to finish the scene to see it in the gallery, but the gallery button is just kind of there, tucked in the corner like an afterthought. The save and load functions were added later too, which explains why my first attempt just vanished when I closed the tab.

The art has that flat, slightly shiny look. Not bad, exactly. The uncensor patch is hidden somewhere, the dev hints you can "find out how" on the patreon page. I didn't bother. The whole thing feels like a sketch someone abandoned, the bones of a game that might have been more if the patreon took off. There's no real story, just a setup and a payoff that ends too quick. I wish there was more dialogue, more buildup. The uniform still bothers me. The collar is all wrong.
